Triphala consists of
- Amalaki (emblica officinalis) is an Indian gooseberry that is packed with vitamin C
- Haritaki (terminalia chebula), known as the Tibetan 'king of medicine', has a normalizing function on the intestinal system.
- Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica) is a powerful fruit with detoxifying properties.
Dosage
0.5 tsp. morning and evening that is mixed with juice, water (preferably warm) or another beverage. :
Pregnant and lactating women should avoid Triphala, as should people with diarrhea or severe intestinal disorders.
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
